The book Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk Inspiring brings a representative selection of the works of TGM with a focus on his political thinking, intended for the general public. The book will include scientific studies dealing with this dimension of Masaryk’s legacy. The objective of the book is to highlight the importance of T. G. Masaryk as an academic and statesman. As part of the celebrations of the Czechoslovak statehood, Charles University wishes to highlight the importance of openness of the academic sphere towards the public as an integral precondition for continuous advancement and preservation of democratic principles.
